Hôtel Chicoutimi receives recognition from the industryHôtel Chicoutimi received its 4th star this year. The numerous efforts and its engagement regarding sustainable developement have been aplauded by the Grands Prix du tourisme, winning both the 4-5 stars establishment and sustainable tourism categories at in 2009, as well as the 3rd place in the 4-5 stars establishment category at the nationals' Grands prix.

On top of several initiatives taken to preserve the environment, Hôtel Chicoutimi now compensate for all of the green house gases produced (avec la Chaire de recherche en éco-conseil de l'UQAC).
