Discover again the Hotel Chicoutimi

Our history is that of Chicoutimi. One hundred years ago, the Hotel was a reference in terms of accommodation and that's what inspires us today; bringing back the luster that our establishment had at the beginning. On Racine Street, the Hotel Chicoutimi, built in 1899 by Mr. Joseph Néron, continues to be a vital part of accommodation, restoration and entertainment. With its unrestricted view of the Saguenay River and its more than 100 years of history, the establishment is renowned for being the biggest hotel in the downtown area and is the place of choice for those wishing to take full advantage of life in the Saguenay.

Situated in the cultural crescent of the city, the Hotel puts emphasis on regional artists and products. As we are very keen on putting forward this cultural richness which is our very own, we put all our energy into promoting these activities. In addition to numerous products available in our rooms and in our boutique coming from local artists, we contribute financially to the cultural sector by associating ourselves with festivals such as short films, Trafic'Art , Des vins de Saguenay, Jazz et Blues de Saguenay, Rhythmes du Monde, Sorites racine, Ça Danse, St-Honoré dans le vent, etc.
